The Academic Resource Center on the Canton campus provides support services for the liberal arts, career and technical programs offered at the Canton Campus. The ARC promotes student success by offering tutoring in many subject areas as well as providing students with assistance in becoming more effective learners. Trained professional, para-professional and peer tutors will work with students individually or in a group setting.
Tutoring appointments are strongly recommended and can be made in advance, or services are available on a walk-in basis. Small study groups are also encouraged in the ARC.
Disability Services is also located within the ARC. Students with documented disabilities can access services such as testing accommodations, study-skills tutoring, use of adaptive technology, and more.
In the Canton ARC, students have access to computers for word processing, graphic design, AUTOCAD, internet access, and tutorial software in many subject areas. Four Macintosh computers are available for Graphic Design students. The Macintosh computers have Graphic Design software installed.
