With over twenty five years of experience managing and administering higher education programs throughout Southeastern Massachusetts, Rose Paquette currently serves as the Dean of Corporate and Community Education at Massasoit Community College. Rose started her career as an English as a Second Language teacher, developing curriculum and instructing students in the basic skill areas of Adult Education. With a growing interest and passion for continuing education, Rose entered the MA Community College system in 1988 and managed a number of successful programs. Her extensive experience building collaborative partnerships in the community, developing staff, instructors and curriculum and managing large grants has led to a thriving Corporate and Community Education division at Massasoit. Rose earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Portuguese and Education from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a Master of Science in Management from Eastern Nazarene College.

Ms. Aspinwall has a Master's Degree in Applied Sociology and is currently working on her doctorate in Psychoanalysis and Culture. She also taught sociology at the University of Massachusetts/Boston. Since 2004 she has worked as an ESOL instructor and teacher's trainer, a certified medical interpreter/translator, an advocate for immigrants, a program coordinator for Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts and qualitative social researcher with a focus on minority groups. Prior to 2004, Ms. Aspinwall lived and worked in Brazil, where she directed a language school, taught ESOL classes, and trained instructors.
Transitions Director Linda Aspinwall has a long history of working with culturally diverse populations. She has traveled abroad extensively, and lived and worked in Brazil for over 25 years. She is both bilingual and bicultural. While living in Brazil she studied Portuguese and ESOL at the Catholic University, taught ESOL at all academic levels (grammar through graduate school), directed a language school and worked as a volunteer on academic projects for young adults at risk. She has been serving the student community at Massasoit since 2008.

Dianne Blanchard, the Educational and Career Advisor, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a minor in Education. She has experience in the public school system and has been teaching adult learners since 2004. For many years Ms. Blanchard utilized her vast experience with diverse populations as an ESOL instructor at both the Stoughton ABE Program and the Workforce Development program at Massasoit.

As Associate Dean of Massasoit Community College’s Corporate Education initiatives, Maryellen brings extensive leadership experience in higher education and workforce development. Prior to coming to Massasoit, she served as executive director for the South Shore Workforce Investment Board, managing the planning and execution of a wide array of workforce training initiatives, special projects and youth education & employment programs for 22 communities. Prior positions include serving in leadership positions at the University of Massachusetts Boston, as director of alumni and career programs in the College of Management as well as the assistant director of Undergraduate Admissions. Maryellen’s background in successfully initiating public-private partnerships, working with businesses and non-profit agencies, are assets to the College’s business development efforts. Maryellen has a BA from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Paul Key is the Associate Director of Community Education at Massasoit Community College. His responsibilities include management of the online, non-credit program at Massasoit and marketing for the Corporate and Community Education division. Paul spent ten years working as a manager in private sector employment services before turning his focus to training and workforce development in the nonprofit and continuing education fields. Throughout his career Paul has managed large-scale state, federal and private workforce and training grants. He earned a bachelor's degree in Management from Bridgewater State University and a master's in Education from Eastern Nazarene College.

Steven Litcoff, the Associate Director of Corporate Education, spent the ten years before joining Massasoit Community College as an administrator handling the training of large staffs, as well as budgetary, hiring, staff performance, and fund-raising functions. At Massasoit, he directed the $200,000 Energy Efficiency Grant that provided participants with customized training, internships, and job placement. Most recently he became part of the Corporate Education division as an Associate Director. Steve’s experience working with curriculum, training, and businesses has been a great asset to the college. He is presently working on his Master’s degree and resides in Easton with his wife and son.

For over 7 years Kelley Tilden has played an important role in the development and growth of the Community Education programs at Massasoit Community College. Kelley has exponentially increased the number of online and certificate courses offered to students, providing a myriad of opportunities for continuing education and personal development. In her current role as Director of Community Education, Kelley assumes strategic planning, fiscal management, program development and reporting responsibilities, as well as coordination of Community Education instructors. She brings to Massasoit extensive experience managing large projects and contracts for past employers in the finance, medical and real estate industries. Kelley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and a Minor in Economics from Lynchburg College.
