High School Equivalency Preparation Program (GED & HiSET)
About Our Program
Students in Massachusetts now have the option of earning their high school equivalency through GED or HiSET. Massasoit Community College has created a specialized High School Equivalency Preparation Program that will equip students with the skills they need to pass either GED or HiSET tests. Our program is comprised of two courses: English & Social Studies and Math & Science. These courses were designed to assist students that need short-term (one to two semesters) of preparation prior to taking high school equivalency exams. This program may not be suitable for students in need of more comprehensive preparation.

Once the High School Equivalency Preparation Program courses have been completed, or when students feel ready to take the GED or HiSET series of tests, they can sign up to take the tests at High School Equivalency – Massasoit Community College.
