Our Programs

Chocolate Bliss

Learn how to make delicious candies for friends and family, just in time for Valentine’s Day! We’ll show you how to melt, temper, and work with chocolate and create amazing clusters, bark, and rich decadent truffles. Appropriate for ages 15 and up. Attendees under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. A recipe and list of materials will be provided to students before the start of class.

Shortbread Bird Houses

Sweet tweets! Take some time with your little one and have a sweet time decorating a completely edible shortbread bird house, complete with a cute marshmallow bird. A child must be accompanied by an adult for the whole class. Appropriate for ages 5 – 8.A recipe and list of materials will be provided to students before the start of class. About Our Instructor

Jeanne Curtis earned her A.S. from Newbury College and her M. Ed from Cambridge College, and joined the Culinary Arts Department at Massasoit Community College in 2004. Prior to her tenure at Massasoit, Jeanne taught baking and pastries for 20 years at Newbury College.
