Massachusetts has several programs available, including the Workforce Training Fund, that help eligible employers cover the cost of training their workforce. The Corporate Education team at Massasoit can help you find the right program for your business.

Workforce Training Fund Programs

General Program

Through this program, employers can receive matching funds between $10,000 (minimum) and $250,000 (maximum) for customized training. Companies of any size may apply. Training programs must be completed within 24 months after award notification. Trainees must be employed in Massachusetts and be paid while in training.

Express Program

This program was designed for employers with less than 100 employees. The maximum grant award is $30,000 per calendar year. Training programs are pre-approved, “off the shelf” trainings. There is 50% reimbursement per course with a maximum of $3,000 per course. Programs must be completed within 12 months after notification of award and employees must be paid while in training.
