Conlon-McCombe, Nicole
Adjunct Professor Nicole Conlon-McCombe joined Massasoit Community College in 2010. Nicole is a professional playwright, actor, director and teaching artist. During her time at Massasoit she has taught a variety of courses, serves as an academic advisor, has advised the students clubs Dramatikos and Performix and directed The Bully Show and The Jordan Rich Variety Show. She also teaches at Bridgewater State University and Stonehill College. Additionally, Nicole serves as Executive Director for Drug Story Theater, a nonprofit organization that works with teens in the early stages of recovery so that, “The treatment of one becomes the prevention of many”. She has written all three of their plays, “The Price You Pay”, “Second Chances” and “Changes for the Better”. She holds a BA in Communication with a concentration in Theater Arts and an MFA in Theater: Performance & Society. Nicole believes in the power of theater to promote civic dialogue, raise social awareness, and potentially create social change.
