Ed Krasnow is the Director of the Digital Media Arts Center (DMAC) at Massasoit Community College in Brockton, Massachusetts. Ed is proud to have started his media career as a student in the Media Program at Massasoit. After completing his Associates Degree in 1986 he went on to Emerson College, graduating in 1989 as a Mass Comm, TV Production major. Ed worked at the Massasoit TV Studio as a Production Coordinator for more than 5 years after college. He then became the first Digital Video Specialist at Crimson Tech in Cambridge, MA and then worked for several pioneering manufacturers of digital video hardware, software and editing systems including Fast Electronics, Panasonic, and Pinnacle systems, before returning to become Assistant Director and then Director of the DMAC at Massasoit. Ed has worked in Television, Radio, as a film director, stage director and actor as well. Ed is proud to work with an excellent team of professionals at the DMAC and loves working with a diverse range faculty, staff, and students to help teach the current generation of students the latest tools and technology in digital content creation.
