The Massasoit Veteran Services Center is teaming up again this year with local non-profit Care Packs for a care package drive. Care Packs has been sending care packages to deployed troops for 16 years. There is a wish list set up on amazon if anyone would like to contribute: Care Package Items

The Veteran Services Center is accepting donations (see items lists below) from Tuesday, November 2 until November 15. There will be a donation box located outside of the Veterans Center in the bottom floor of the Student Center on the Brockton campus.

Clothing & Toiletries:

(NEW ITEMS ONLY) bandanas, t-shirts, crew socks, baseball hats, winter hats, toothpaste, toothbrushes, Q-tips, antibacterial lotion, hand/body lotion, lip balm, band-aids, baby wipes, shampoo, stick deodorant, dental floss, mouthwash, sunscreen, bug repellent, no pest fly strips, solid air fresheners, feminine products, foot powder and bar soap.

Entertainment:

Frisbees, tennis balls, travel games (chess, checkers, UNO), playing cards, batteries (AAA, AA , C, D),  blank greeting cards, electronic games, paper, pens, envelopes, this year(s) /months magazines (Sports Illustrated, Auto, Golf, People), pre- paid phone cards,  CD’s and DVD’s.
