Mindfulness Session for Students

Feeling stressed about school, work, family, or world events? You are not alone. Join Professors Angelina Avedano and Robin Peery for a “mindfulness” session for students on Thursday, December 10 at 3:00 pm via Zoom. Research shows that mindfulness provides documented benefits to our health, longevity, and well-being. The studies make the case for prioritizing compassion and gratitude over stress, anxiety, and fear. Take this hour to practice mindfulness techniques that will help you feel calmer and less stressed as you head into the final weeks of the semester.
