Screening of the Film Black Orpheus (Orfeu Negro)

The Massasoit Film Society, in collaboration with the Massasoit Library, proudly present a screening of Black Orpheus on Thursday, October 8 at 7 p.m. A visually stunning interpretation of the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, Orfeu Negro (Black Orpheus) recreates its tale in the 20th century favelas of Rio de Janeiro.
