Massasoit Community College has joined with NeighborWorks Southern Mass. and the City of Brockton to provide free income tax preparation assistance to local residents through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program.

The VITA program offers free tax preparation and electronic filing assistance for individuals and families who have an annual income of $54,000 or less. Tax preparation assistance will be available:

Mondays from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
February 1 – April 11, 2016
Brockton Public Library

Saturdays from 10:00 a.m – 1:00 p.m.
February 6 – April 9, 2016

The sites will be closed on February 15 in observance of Presidents’ Day, on March 19 during Massasoit’s spring break, and may close due to inclement weather.

Assistance will be provided on a first come, first served basis and generally takes about one hour.
