The following resources are made available to members of the Massasoit community to facilitate distance learning and personal well-being during this difficult time.

Laptop Loans for Students

For students with demonstrated financial need, the Dean of Students Office has identified a number of laptops available for loan to students. Students who have need for a device for remote learning should complete the laptop loan request form.

ARC Tutoring Services

Whether you are taking your first class at Massasoit or your last class at Massasoit this Summer, Academic Resource Center (ARC) Tutors are here to help you achieve academic success!  The ARC offers remote tutoring services and study skill support for many courses across the curriculum.

Making Appointments

Contact the ARC:
All remote tutoring is by appointment only. To make an appointment, students may call 508-588-9100, x1801 or x2516 or email or the ARC from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am – 4:30 pm on Friday.

Students may also self-schedule their own tutoring appointment on Navigate (formerly known as GradesFirst).

How to Self-Schedule a Tutoring Session:
  1. Log in to the Massasoit Portal
  2. Enter your username and password
  3. On the left hand side, click on the Navigate icon
  4. Click Get Assistance
  5. Select Tutoring
  6. Select the Course or Service
  7. Select the Academic Resource Center Remote location
  8. Click Next and then select the day and time that works best for you.

**Students should also use their Massasoit account and username to access Navigate and Tutoring Sessions on Zoom.**

Writing Center Requests:

In addition to making appointments for remote writing tutoring, students can also email a paper draft or general question to and receive tutor feedback within 24 business hours. In your email, please include your Massasoit student V#,  your Professor and course name, assignment information, what you would like help with, and a copy of your writing in a Microsoft Word or Google Docs format.


Also this summer, check out eTutoring, Massasoit’s free, online supplementary tutoring resource! This resource is available for Summer I students from Wednesday, June 3rd – Tuesday, June 30th through Thursday, August 6. The program will provide tutoring services for Writing (across the curriculum), Math (Developmental through Pre-Calculus), and Science. This resource offers assistance in several modes including live chat tutoring sessions, posting questions and receiving responses via email, and an online writing lab which allows a student to submit a draft of a paper to a tutor and receive work back with a tutor’s response within 24-48 hours. You can access eTutoring in the Quick Launch tab in the Massasoit portal, and/or via this link to access, please use your student username and password. Once you log in, you will have access to a weekly schedule of tutoring by subject.

Student Life

All Student Life events are canceled for the spring semester. A list of virtual activities are posted to the events page of our website. For all questions related to Student Life, please email Student Life staff will be available to answer emails from Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.

Some student clubs plan to hold virtual meetings. Please look for emails from your club advisor/president in the coming weeks or email them directly. Club advisor contact information for Brockton and Canton.
