Private Investigators and Auto Repossession

All Private Investigators, Auto Repossession Agents, or their agents and/or employees, acting under their official capacity are required to obtain authorization from the College’s Chief of Police or their designee prior to entering any property owned or operated by Massasoit Community College.

All Private Investigators or Auto Repossession Agents who enter onto property owned or operated by Massasoit Community College are required to immediately and properly identify themselves upon the request of a Massasoit Community College Police Officer.

Under NO circumstances shall a Private Investigator or Auto Repossession Agent enter onto property owned or operated by Massasoit Community College while being armed with a firearm or any other weapon as defined under Massachusetts General Law without the advance written permission of the Chief of Police.

The College Police Department reserves the right to deny access of Private Investigators to crime areas and/or incident locations without the prior authorization of the Chief of Police and/or without an escort provided by a Massasoit Community College Police Officer.
