How to Request Public Records
If the records you are searching for are not available on this site, you can request those records by contacting the Massasoit Community College Records Access Officer. A request for public records should include:
- Description of specific records being requested
- Date parameters for the public records being requested
- Name of person or organization requesting the public records
- The requesting person’s/organization’s contact information
Within 10 business days of receipt of the request, you will either receive the record or will be contacted in writing. Written responses will be to acknowledge the request and provide a date the records will be available, to deny the request with an explanation of the denial, or to ask for further clarification.
Please keep in mind the college’s response time will depend on the number of public record requests being processed by the college, how many records are responsive to the request, how old the records being requested are, and how specific the request is.
Note: In compliance with this law, Massasoit Community College provides the most commonly requested public records.
Open Bids, RFPs and RFQs
Massasoit Community College, an agency of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, invites
bids from qualified vendors to provide one (1) Basic Electrical Motors Learning System,
and one (1) DC Generators Learning System, designed to provide hands-on experience
with industrial motors and power generation, as well as specialized technical training
equipment for its Heavy Truck and Equipment Technology program. All equipment bid
on shall be of current production and of the latest design and construction and must
be delivered on site by June 1, 2026.
Bids will be received until Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm EST, when they will
be publicly opened and read in the President’s Conference Room, Administration Building,
Brockton Campus. Any bid received after this date and time will not be considered.
Massasoit Community College, the Awarding Authority, invites bids from vendors to
provide two (02) indoor, single-sided LED basketball scoreboards for the purpose of
accurately timing, scoring, and displaying real-time athletic event information for
intercollegiate and institutional sports activities in the gymnasium, which is located
in the Field House. All equipment bid on shall be of current production and of the
latest design and construction.
Bids will be received by Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 2:00 pm EST, when they will
be publicly opened and read in the President’s Conference Room, Administration Building,
Brockton Campus. Any bid received after this date and time will not be considered.
Massasoit Community College, an agency of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, invites proposals from vendors for the furnishing, installation, and configuration of all classroom audio-visual (AV) equipment in Building 1. Through the Transformation Through Renovation project, Massasoit is extensively renovating two academic buildings. Within each building’s exterior walls, the interior of both buildings will be completely new construction. Building 1 will be the new Science building, and this invitation seeks to outfit 11 classrooms with new AV equipment in the newly constructed interior. This RFP includes only the Science building (Building 1).
Proposals will be received until Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 2:00 pm EST, when they will be opened and registered for subsequent evaluation in the President’s Conference Room, Administration Building, Brockton Campus. The contents of the proposals will be registered publicly but will be kept confidential and not disclosed until the evaluation process is completed. Any proposal received after this date and time will not be considered.
