Title II – Public Services
State and local governments may not discriminate against qualified individuals with
disabilities. New construction and alterations to existing facilities must be accessible.
Existing facilities must meet program accessibility requirements consistent with Section
504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

Digital Accessibility
At Massasoit, the College strives to ensure its digital content is accessible for people with disabilities. This commitment extends beyond our website and includes other content created by and for the College.
Making Accessible Content
The College and its employees use several resources and tools to ensure that content like Word Documents, PDFs, and emails are accessible. Applications like Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint have built-in features to "Check Accessibility." Additionally, employees have access to resources and trainings to help them learn about best practices for creating content.

Massasoit's TeamDynamix Knowledge Base has several accessibility resources for employees. Articles cover topics including:

External Resources and Information
The ADA is a federal law and is regulated by the U.S. Department of Justice, and all state and local government agencies are expected to comply with the law. The federal government and Commonwealth of Massachusetts have made resources and information available for public employees and members of the public.
