About Our Program

This 60-hour course is designed to prepare students for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) national certification exam. Through a combination of classroom and practical sessions students will gain experience as well as meet licensure eligibility requirements. The course objectives will be to learn the required skills of an EKG Technician such as Heart Anatomy and Physiology, proper lead placement, Operating and adjusting EKG monitors, Diseases of the Heart, and medical terminology through a combination of lectures and hands-on practical experience. Certificate of completion will be awarded upon successful completion of course.

Additional fees for textbook and NHA certification.
