About Our Program

This introductory course provides students with a practical, real-world understanding of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems as they operate in modern buildings. Students will explore system components, airflow, heating, and cooling processes, and how HVAC integrates with other building systems across multiple industries including life science laboratories, manufacturing facilities, office buildings, healthcare facilities, and multi-tenant commercial properties. The course emphasizes hands-on exposure, real equipment, and career exploration, serving as a gateway into HVAC, facilities management, and skilled trades careers.
