Information on tuition, fees and student health insurance
Student Billing Cycle
If student accounts are not paid in full by the bill due date, the student will lose all his/her classes. Attempts at rescheduling may not allow the student to reinstate a lost schedule. Massasoit has been experiencing a significant increase in enrollment, and courses fill quickly. We urge all students to pay their bills within stated time frames to avoid this situation.
Student Health Insurance
An annual fee of $2,401.00 (Spring ONLY) is required of all students taking 9 credits or more per semester. This fee may be waived if students are covered by a comparable plan. Waivers may be submitted through Banner Self-Service accessed through the student’s MyMassasoit account. Health Insurance coverage offered to students runs from September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2022.
Student Payment Plan
A payment plan is available to all registered students through Nelnet Business Solutions. This is an online payment plan where students make monthly payments via their credit card or automatic bank payment (ACH). There is a fee of $35.00 per semester to join the payment plan. Learn more about the Nelnet payment options.
Books and Supplies
The Bookstore has a location on both campuses (Student Center, lower level at the Brockton campus). Books can cost anywhere from $20 to $200 each, depending on the course. For students demonstrating high financial need, financial aid funds may be available to assist with these costs. Please refer to the Application Procedures section for information o how to apply for financial aid.
Third Party Subsidies
Students with state tuition remission benefits, veterans benefits, National Guard benefits, senior citizen discounts, and all other third party subsidies must go to the Financial Aid Office at either campus (Administration Building lower level in Brockton) with the appropriate paperwork on or before the billing due date.
