Massasoit Visual Arts Professor Liangshu Han Selected for the 2015 Asia/Next – Poster Experimental Design Exhibition Competition
April 9, 2015 – Massasoit Community College Visual Arts Professor Liangshu Han has been selected for the 2015 Asia/Next – Poster Experimental Design Exhibition Competition. The jury selected only 106 pieces from 1,825 worldwide entries. All selected pieces will be exhibited in both Taiwan and China. The purpose of the exhibition is to encourage designers to provide their new experimental poster work in concept format, called “Asia Next.”
The exhibit is organized by the Suzhou Graphic Design Association/Yu Cun Gallery of Suzhou, and is supported by the Asia Art & Design Interchange Association in association with the National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences School of Arts, Kaohsiung, Taiwan and Soochow University, Suzhou, China. Exhibit dates are March 2015 and June 2015.
Liangshu Han is an associate professor of visual arts at Massasoit Community College’s Canton Campus where he has taught for 13 years. During his tenure as a graphic design teacher, he believes he has learned a lot from this job by engaging with his students. He enjoys working as a designer and is passionate about teaching design.
