Massasoit receives $28,100.00 for Commonwealth Dual Enrollment Partnership (CDEP).
January 15, 2015 – Massasoit has limited FUNDING for the Commonwealth Dual Enrollment Partnership (CDEP) for the Spring 2015 Semester. The CDEP program is a state funded grant program which targets high school students who are first generation college students and/or those interested in pursuing majors in STEM, (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Students who have not had the opportunity to participate in an early college experience due to financial circumstances are encouraged to apply. Students may to take one free college class to receive dual credit from the college and the participating high school. There may be a limited number of students selected from each participating high school.
- Students should submit Dual Enrollment Applications to the Dual Enrollment Coordinator starting November 1, 2014
- Registration begins on Tuesday, November 18, 2014.
- Spring 2015 classes begin on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 and end on Saturday, May 9, 2015.
In addition to the Commonwealth Dual Enrollment Partnership (CDEP) Massasoit offers the Massasoit Dual Enrollment Program, (MDEP), a reduced tuition program for qualified high school students, ($50.00 per credit hour, See Dual Enrollment Opportunities Brochure for complete cost details). The MDEP program offers up to two reduced courses per semester for qualified high school students for courses offered after 4:00 pm on Monday through Friday or any time on weekends, including online classes with a minimum of 8 currently enrolled students.
