About Early College
Through partnerships with area high schools, the Office of Early College Access at Massasoit Community College provides access to, and preparation for, higher education through three types of programs:
- Individual Dual Enrollment Access (IDEA)
- Dual Enrollment Pathways
- Early College High School
All courses are taught by credentialed faculty and held to the same academic standards
as courses offered to matriculated Massasoit students, supporting college readiness
and clear pathways to future success.

- When you select "Register" from the top right of the screen, you'll be taken to the account creation screen.
- You can fill in the information requested or you can use an existing account to sign in.
Because some high schools block emails from outside their organization, we recommend using a personal email address rather than one managed by your high school.

Placement and Testing
Students who enter Massasoit through Early College Access are placed using the Early College Multiple Measures criteria below.
- Placement may be determined using a combination of GPA, PSAT scores, prior coursework, and transcript review.
- College transcripts may be used for placement into courses up to College Algebra. Students seeking placement into courses above College Algebra must take the Accuplacer exam. The highest placement possible through the Accuplacer is Calculus I.
Placement results using Multiple Measures (GPA, PSAT, and coursework review) are valid
for one year from the date of assessment.
Placement Testing
Students who do not qualify for placement through GPA, test scores, or prior coursework—or who wish to reassess their placement—will be required to complete Massasoit’s College Placement Test.
College Placement Test scores are valid for five years.
Accuplacer Testing
Students who do not meet placement through other measures may complete the Accuplacer placement test.
Accuplacer testing is offered in person and remotely, by appointment only. If you
are ready to take the placement test, please complete the testing request form to schedule your appointment.
Testing Office
