Testing & Assessment
The Testing and Assessment office offers a variety of tests to serve the needs or our students, staff and the community as a whole. Whether you are seeking to earn college credits, take the CLEP exam, earn your high school credential, take the TEAS exam, complete career certification exams (PearsonVue) or need proctoring services, we are here to help you.
Placement Testing
Accuplacer Testing is now be offered in-person and remotely by appointment only. If you are ready to take the placement test, please complete the testing request form. If you are a recent high school graduate, you may be exempt from some or all of the placement tests. Please visit the Multiple Measures webpage for more information.

We are now offering GED, HiSET and CLEP testing by appointment.

This department gives the following exams:

- Multiple Measures Placement

- Placement Testing
SAT
Students will be exempt from the Reading test if their SAT Reading Test score is:
- Old SAT Reading score of 500 or higher
- New SAT Reading score of 27 or higher
Any student who has received a 10+ sub score on the writing (old test) or a score of 6 on the essay – writing (new test), will place directly into English Composition I.
All entering students will be required to take the Writing and math test
Accuplacer
The Testing and Assessment office provides Accuplacer Testing on a walk-in and appointment basis. Please see the Testing Schedule for available testing times.
The Canton and Middleborough Campuses offer testing once a month by appointment only.
We ask that when you sign up for your test, to pay particular attention to the room, building and campus where your test will be administered.
