Event in partnership with MassHire open to the community

BROCKTON, Mass (April 9, 2025) – Massasoit Community College will host a Career Fair on its Brockton campus on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. Hosted by Massasoit’s Career Services Office and Veterans Office in partnership with MassHire Greater Brockton Career Center, the Career Fair is open to students and the community.

The Career Fair will be held in the Julie Mulvey Gymnasium in the Peter Asiaf Field House. The first half hour of the event (11:00 to 11:30 a.m.) will be dedicated exclusively to veterans, offering them a unique opportunity to connect with employers. More than 60 employers are registered to participate, representing diverse sectors and industries like healthcare, STEM, hospitality, manufacturing, and finance. They are seeking candidates for both entry-level and experienced positions.

“Career-readiness is a hallmark of student success at Massasoit, and our faculty and staff work tirelessly to give students opportunities to jumpstart successful careers after Massasoit or after earning a four-year degree,” said Bill Mitchell, Massasoit’s interim president. “We are proud to host this event for our students and community to help individuals pursue fulfilling opportunities.”

The Career Fair will also include a space for resumé writing, professional headshots for Massasoit students, and tables with information on admissions and financial aid for members of the public interested in starting or restarting their college journey. Massasoit’s free college options now provide individuals looking to earn a degree or a certificate to better prepare themselves for entry-level careers a local, no-cost option.
