Radiologic Technology Program Application Information
Eligibility
Students must be formally admitted into the Radiologic Technology Program in order to take Radiologic Technology concentration courses. Radiology courses are sequential and must be completed in order. Admission to the program is selective and highly competitive.
How to Apply
- The application deadline is February 1 of each admission cycle.
- Classes for the program begin in September and are offered during the day only.
- All required items must be submitted together to the Admissions Office with the Application Checklist.
Radiologic Technology Checklist - New Students to Massasoit should submit a fillable pdf paper application. Massasoit students currently enrolled in a degree program should submit the application for selective admissions. (Even if you have submitted them in the past.)
- Submit documentation of high school graduation, GED/HiSET, or other state approved equivalency credential (transcript or diploma). All foreign high school transcripts must be evaluated. (Even if you have submitted them in the past.)
List of International Evaluation Companies - Submit all official college transcripts from other institutions attended. International college or university transcripts must be evaluated by a certified evaluation company and submitted along with an original college or university transcript from your home University.
- Attend the REQUIRED Information Session (The time limit for attending an Info Session is one year). You may submit an application AFTER attending an Information Session.
- Meet the Biological Principles prerequisite. Note that there is no time limit for science courses for this program.
- Submit ATI TEAS test results. All TEAS tests must be the current version and must be taken in-person. (Please register for the test at www.atitesting.com)

- Complete application packages must be received by the deadline date. Application packages received after the deadline date will not be reviewed and will be returned.
- All applicants will be scored using the rubric.
Radiologic Technology Rubric - Priority consideration will be given to students who have successfully completed Anatomy and Physiology I, Anatomy and Physiology II, College Algebra or higher and the Liberal Arts courses. There is no time limit for science courses for this program.
Note: In the event of a tie score, points will be weighted in the following order: those from the Science/Math block first; those from the Social Science/English block next; and then those from the Healthcare Experience Letter.
Again, you must submit all of your admissions application materials together. The admission committee will review only files of candidates for admission that are complete.
Radiography Transfer Credits
Students wishing to transfer from an accredited 2-year Radiography Program may make an application to the College using standard procedure.

Associated Costs
- In addition to regular tuition and fees, students are responsible for the purchase of uniforms, books, health insurance, protective eye-wear and other associated costs.
- Students must also possess reliable transportation to and from clinical assignments.
- Cost information will be found in PAYING for COLLEGE for each semester. Financial Aid / Refund Policies /Withdrawal and other policies the Rad program obeys by the college policies and procedures.
Additional Costs
In addition to the college tuition and fees cost, the Radiologic Technology Program requirements additional costs a student must bear while in the program. They are the following:
- Prior to start of Program
- CPR: $20.00 to $40.00 or Free.
- Immunizations: Fees vary depending on the immunization needed and the student’s insurance coverage
- During Program
- Health Insurance: Cost vary depending on the insurance company and coverage selected
- Malpractice Insurance: $14.00/academic year
- Books/e-books: approximately $1500.00 –
- Uniforms + Accessories: approximately $250.00/academic year
- Clinical Record-Keeping – TRAJECSYS: $150.00
- Health Record-Keeping: $50.00
- Society Dues/Conference: $150.00
- After Graduation
- National/State Examination Fees: ARRT: $220.00
- State License application and State Licensing Fee: $75.00 + $150.00 for total of $225.00
