New Programs
Black Studies
The Black Studies Associate of Arts degree provides an interdisciplinary curriculum in which students learn to critically examine, analyze, and interpret Black experiences. The degree offers a broad selection of courses addressing historical, cultural, and sociological factors that affect the lives of Black people.
Computer Information Systems – Integrated User Support
The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Computer User Support is designed to serve the needs of the career-oriented student who wishes to find employment as an Information Technology Specialist in computer and related business careers that involve information security, computer networks, Microsoft Office applications, computer software and hardware maintenance, and help-desk services.
Computer Science Transfer – Data Science
Massasoit’s Data Science Transfer associate degree program can put you on a path to a bachelor’s degree, enabling you to take advantage of career options in the fast-growing field of data science. Our challenging curriculum includes classes in data science, computer programming, and data visualization.
Global Learning Certificate
As cultural boundaries continue to overlap and our communities connect across borders, the Global Learning Certificate program at Massasoit offers students an opportunity to address these changes both within and outside the classroom. Students enrolled in the Global Learning Certificate program encounter a wide range of global issues across academic disciplines and are able to shape their own program.
Hospitality Management Certificate
Students in our Hospitality Management Degree program will study tourism, event planning, marketing, human resources, and hotel operations, as well as other aspects of the field.
Information Technologies Certificate
The Information Technologies program emphasizes the practical business information, computer, and soft skills that are necessary for careers in the modern office. Students gain hands-on experience with a variety of computer software packages including word processing, spreadsheets, payroll applications, and HTML5 for websites and applications.
Liberal Arts Studies – Health Sciences Option
The Health Sciences Career option is designed for students interested in a health career, or who have completed health science course credits in an associate degree program or a certificate in a health program, and are seeking to be employed in entry-level health positions, or interested in transferring to a four-year institution to continue in an allied health program. Students who have completed a certificate in a health program will also be eligible to obtain an industry-recognized certification.
Networking Security Specialist Certificate
The Networking Security Specialist Certificate is designed for students who are interested in acquiring the skills and knowledge necessary to work in the fields of information technology (IT) and to pass the Cisco ® CCNA® certification exam.
