Throughout the year, Massasoit Community College hosts a range of community events organized by the College or our partners. This June, we are hosting Harambee Learning and Cultural Center’s (HLCC) 2025 Juneteenth Celebration on our Brockton Campus Quad on Thursday, June 19. The event, being held from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., will feature music, entertainment, dancing, food, and more.

HLCC was founded in 2020 with a mission to engage communities in Black History and Culture. As one aspect of this mission, HLCC presents the annual, official celebration of Juneteenth in Brockton. Among HLCC’s range of programs are free Black history classes as well as co-sponsorship of an Historically Black College and University Fair.

Additionally, Massasoit will host an event presented by Rose Conservatory and the Baystate Chapter of NCBAA at our Buckley Performing Arts Center on Saturday, June 21. The Rose Conservatory, an Brockton-area nonprofit supporting music education, will perform Madagascar: A Musical Adventure Jr. at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Tickets for the musical are available on their website.

Massasoit Community College is a cornerstone of the Greater Brockton community, and we’re honored that our community partners are hosting their events on our beautiful Brockton campus.
