According to 266 CMR 5.01, Licensed Home Inspectors and Associate Home Inspectors are required, as a condition of license renewal, to complete a minimum of 12 contact hours of continuing education hours per renewal cycle. At least four hours of the required continuing education activities shall be dedicated to the 266 CMR regulations including the standards of practice and at least one hour shall be dedicated to professional ethics for each renewal cycle.
266 CMR Regulations/Professional Ethics
This course will provide licensed home inspectors with a review of the most current 266 CMR regulations including the MA Standards of Practice as well as a review of the standards of professional and ethical conduct set forth by the MA Board of Registration of Home Inspectors. Numerous illustrations will be used to teach each system that a home inspector is required to know, identify and report on. (5 contact hours).
