Open to everyone, you will learn an overview of the interior design and decoration business, and career options. From layout and traffic patterns to trades skills and tools, you will learn through hands-on projects and field trips to Jordan’s Furniture in Avon. Additional material fees discussed 1st night of class. Must complete all 3 courses to receive certificate.

In this 2nd course, learn the resources and materials available to help interior designers make decisions about room layout, function and feel. From fabrics and floor materials to the effect of various colors and color combinations, you will learn the critical element of design.
Note: This course is offered online using learning management system (Canvas) and video conference program (Zoom) on scheduled days and times and in-person at the Canton Campus, Room C135 on April 26th and offsite on May 10th. Internet and webcam required.
In this 3rd course, learn to design and layout interior rooms utilizing blueprints. From basic blueprinting to scaling and problem-solving skills, you will apply all learned design and blue print concepts to produce your final project, a completely designed room.
