Dr. Tonisha Pinckney Addresses Massasoit in Recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month
April 19, 2016 – On Wednesday, April 20, Massasoit Community College’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion hosted Dr. Tonisha M. Pinckney for a keynote discussion, “Surviving Survival: A Discussion of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.”
The author of two books regarding her survival of sexual assault and domestic violence, Dr. Pinckney is a criminal justice expert, a criminologist, advocate, educator, and public speaker. She also teaches a variety of courses at several colleges and universities with topics including intimate partner violence, race/gender crime, white-collar crime, and sex offenders and offenses.
