April 8, 2015 – The U.S. Department of Labor Women’s Bureau, along with the Massasoit Community College Division of Emergent Technologies and Women’s Resource Center, will hold a roundtable discussion, Engaging Women for STEM, on Tuesday, May 5 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

This event will be held in the Louison Board Room of the Student Center on Massasoit’s Brockton Campus.

The roundtable will bring together leaders in the Greater Brockton area to discuss potential pathways for women to become involved in careers related to science, technology, math, and engineering (STEM). This discussion will also draw on ideas and best practices. Some of the topic questions to be considered are:

• What are STEM careers?
• How can you prepare for a STEM career?
• What opportunities are available for women in STEM?
• How can we help women transition into to STEM jobs?

Attendance is free but registration is required. Space limited to 30.
