Dr. Charles Wall, president of Massasoit Community College, is pleased to announce that Brockton resident Myrna Lyncee has been elected as the student representative to the Massasoit Community College Board of Trustees.

A student in the Liberal Arts Transfer Science program at Massasoit, Myrna is a 2015 graduate of Brockton High School. She has participated on campus a Student Senator and a Presidential Student Ambassador. She is also a math tutor in the College’s Academic Resource Center (ARC) and serves as the secretary for the Social Action Club, a student organization rooted in community service.

“The Board of Trustees and I look forward to working with Myrna over the course of the next year,” said Dr. Wall. “She is a welcome addition to the Board and I join with the Trustees in congratulating her on this achievement..”

As Student Trustee, Myrna will represent the students of Massasoit as a full voting member of the Board of Trustees. She was sworn in on August 12, 2015.
