Massasoit Holds Veterans Open House
July 10, 2015 – One of the benefits to serving in the U.S. Armed Forces is the opportunity to use military educational benefits to earn a college degree or certificate. Massasoit Community College offers a wide variety of military–approved, career-focused associate degree and certificate programs. Massasoit Community College is an approved provider for Veterans’ Educational Benefits including the GI Bill, National Guard Tuition and Fee Waiver, MyCAA, and more. At the Open House you can:
• Visit our recently renovated Veterans’ Center
• Enjoy complimentary light refreshments
• Meet and network with the Veterans’ Center staff
• Speak with admissions counselors and faculty members to explore career areas
Massasoit Community College is proud to have opened its dedicated Veterans’ Center in 2012. Through this important resource, veterans and current service members are able to make vital peer relationships, engage in valuable collaboration and camaraderie, receive academic and personal counseling, and participate in leadership opportunities through the Veterans Club and others.
The Veterans’ Center provides a place for students with military backgrounds to connect, engage and relax. It offers a community within the college community and a home away from home for veteran students while on campus.
Learn more about these services and meet the people who support veterans in their transition from active military service to civilian life.
