Carol Bulman Bio

Carol Conway Bulman is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Jack Conway, one of Massachusetts' leading independent real estate firms. Celebrating its 65th anniversary in 2021, the company has surpassed $1 billion in sales seven times. With 20 offices and nearly 700 agents spanning from Swampscott to Cape Cod, as well as in New Hampshire and Rhode Island, Jack Conway provides a comprehensive range of services. These include insurance, mortgage, title, staging, relocation, commercial real estate, an award-winning marketing team, and a real estate licensing school, offering clients a truly one-stop shopping experience.

Carol is the daughter of the late Jack Conway, who founded his business in Hingham Square in 1956. She has more than 30 years of experience in her family's firm and in the Massachusetts housing and mortgage industries. Under her leadership since 2008, Jack Conway has acquired over a dozen real estate companies and extended its services to the home buyers and sellers of the North Shore. Working with her leadership team, Carol has also established Conway Country Insurance, Columbia Title Company and Conway Staging.

Carol plays a vital role in both the real estate industry and her community. She is currently a member of the Father Bills & MainSpring Development Committee and has previously served on the New England Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Carol is also a past chairperson of the South Shore Board of Trustees and has served on the Board of Directors for Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, a global network of market-leading independent residential brokerages. In addition, she has been a member of the MLS PIN Board of Directors and the South Shore Advisory Committee, as well as a past member of Bridgewater State University’s Board of Directors. Carol currently co-chairs the South Shore Redevelopment Committee and is a former president of the Massachusetts Mortgage Association.

During her tenure as Conway CEO, she has received numerous awards for her professional and philanthropic achievements. Among them are:

  • The Boston Business Journal’s “40 under 40” award
  • Top Woman Led Business in 2022
  • The “Woman of Distinction Award” from the Woodward School in Quincy
  • The 2016 Luminaria Medallion from South Shore Hospital
  • The Providence College Career Achievement Award
  • Graduate of GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute)
  • The Inaugural 2015 “Women of Fire” Award from Banker & Tradesman

Carol is a graduate of Providence College and the National School of Mortgage Banking in Chicago. Together with President Al Becker and her children Kaitlin, Corinne and Michael, she is committed to expanding her company and continuing her father's legacy of running her business with the highest standards of honesty and integrity. Her priority, and that of her agents, staff and managers, is to provide exceptional real estate services with a personal touch to the homebuyers and sellers of Conway Country.

Carol and her husband Michael live in Scituate, Massachusetts. They have four grown children—Kaitlin, Corinne, Jack, and Michael—all of whom work in the family businesses, and ten young grandchildren.
