About Our Instructors

Claire Krasnow, an MCC alum, holds a B.A. in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Eastern Nazarene College. Claire is an adjunct professor in the English Department and a Professional Writing Tutor in the Writing Center at Massasoit. In the past, she has been Co-Coordinator of Massasoit’s Commonwealth Honors Program and Co-Advisor to its Honor Society (Phi Theta Kappa).

William Silva Jr. holds a B.S. in Biology, Chemistry and Secondary Education from Bridgewater State University and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership from American International College. Over the last 20 years he has taught at the High School level specializing in Advanced Placement Biology and Advanced Placement Environmental Science. Currently, he serves as the Lead Science Teacher at East Bridgewater JR/SR High School.
