PE – Additional Courses
Enjoy a Pieapalooza of an afternoon! We will be creating beautiful hand pies and a two crusted pie for you to take home and enjoy just in time for the holiday. Class structure consists of a short lecture, followed by baking, and tasting your delicious pie. All classes take place in a professional college teaching kitchen that uses a wide variety of ingredients. If you have concerns about food allergies, please contact the Chef ahead of time. Please wear comfortable flat shoes and bring along an apron, if you have one. We will all pitch in to help with a quick clean-up to tidy up our spaces. Materials Fee: $5.00 payable to instructor at the beginning of class.

Come and have fun learning how to make your own beautiful babkas and scrumptious cinnamon rolls. We will talk about working with yeast doughs in your home and give you suggestions on how to make more enticing breads at your leisure. Class consists of a short lecture, baking, and tasting. Jeanne Curtis earned her A.S. from Newbury College and her M. Ed from Cambridge College, and joined the Culinary Arts Department at Massasoit Community College in 2004. Prior to her tenure at Massasoit, Jeanne taught baking and pastries for 20 years at Newbury College.
