Come learn how easy it is to make tender, flavorful loaves of quality quick breads, like Walnut Sour Cream Coffee Cake loaves and Heavenly Scones. This is a great way to learn the basic techniques in the bakeshop. All classes take place in a professional college teaching kitchen that uses a wide variety of ingredients. If you have concerns about food allergies, please contact the Chef ahead of time. Please wear comfortable flat shoes and bring along an apron, if you have one. Come and have fun learning how to make your own beautiful babkas and scrumptious cinnamon rolls. We will talk about working with yeast doughs in your home and give you suggestions on how to make more enticing breads at your leisure. Class consists of a short lecture, baking, and tasting. Pieapalooza

Enjoy a Pieapalooza of an afternoon! We will be creating beautiful hand pies and a two crusted pie for you to take home and enjoy just in time for the holiday. About Our Instructor(s)

Jeanne Curtis earned an A.S. from Newbury College and an M. Ed from Cambridge College, and joined the Culinary Arts Department at Massasoit Community College in 2004. Prior to her tenure at Massasoit, Jeanne taught baking and pastries for 20 years at Newbury College.
