BROCKTON, Mass (November 10, 2025) – Massasoit Community College is pleased to announce the appointment of David Offutt to the College’s Board of Trustees. The appointment was made by Governor Maura Healey in October for a term lasting until March of 2030.

Offutt has more than 20 years of experience in real estate and currently serves as the Principal Owner at Haliday Realty Inc/HomeVestors of America. In his role, he works across all aspects of real estate, including property management and disposition. He was previously a licensed real estate agent, having successfully closed more than 800 transactions over 12 years.

A long-time resident of Greater Brockton, Offutt is well known as a leader in the community. He serves as Chair of the Board of Directors, and on the Brockton Board of Governors for Old Colony YMCA, as a Trustee for Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, and as a Corporator for North Easton Savings Bank. He previously served on Massasoit’s Board of Trustees from 2015 to 2017, as a HarborOne Bank Corporator, and as Chairman of the BAMSI Board of Directors.
