Remembering the Stonewall Riots

October 30 from 11:00 am12:00 pm

In celebration of LGBT History Month, the Pride at Massasoit team is honored to host a legendary event on Wednesday, October 30th at 11 a.m. in the BrocktonCampus Library.

Civil rights activists Paul Glass and Charles Evans will discuss their experiences as participants in the historic Stonewall Uprising.

A fundamental moment in LGBTQ history in both the United States and abroad, these1969 protests marked a new beginning for gay rights and queer visibility, and laid the path for contemporary Pride celebrations and legal equity. We’re thrilled to have these gentlemen share their stories with the Massasoit community.

In-person attendance is encouraged, but a livestream option will be provided soon. We hope you can join us.
