About Our Program

This 60 hour course is designed to prepare students for the ASPT national certification exam. Through a combination of classroom and practical sessions students will gain the experience as well as meet licensure eligibility requirements. The course objectives will be to learn the required skills of an EKG Technician such as Heart Anatomy and Physiology, proper lead placement, Operating and adjusting EKG monitors, Diseases of the Heart, medical terminology. through a combination of lectures and hands-on practical experience.

Certificate awarded upon successful completion of course. Additional fees for textbooks and ASPT certification.
