As a past Massasoit Community College student, Patrick Quinn learned about the MA Real Estate Sales License Preparation Certificate program through a semester catalog mailed to his home.  In his current career, Patrick manages 100 residential condo units for a Quincy, MA condominium Association. He enrolled in the Real Estate Sales Preparation program as a means to enhance his skill set and achieve his long-term goal of becoming a Real Estate Broker.

Through the program, Patrick learned that real estate is an ever-evolving field and that it’s imperative for professionals to stay up to date with government laws and regulations.  He credits instructor Bob Pacheco for bringing the curriculum to life through the many real-life examples he shared in class.  Patrick explains: “Bob shared a lot of knowledge.  He’s been a real estate broker for many years.  In class he shared plenty of stories that helped with the learning process.”

Patrick graduated from the MA Real Estate Sales License Preparation program in April 2019 and will be taking the licensing exam in the upcoming months.  After passing the exam he plans to work in the real estate field under a broker for a few years to gain valuable experience.  From there, he plans to take the real estate broker exam and enjoy a career as a broker.  Patrick’s advice to future Real Estate Sales License Preparation students is: “Keep up with the reading material and come to class prepared.  It’s a lot of work but you will come away with a lot of knowledge.”
