The Early Childhood Education and Administration program comprehensively prepares students for a career in working with young children and for the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) certification as Lead Teacher. The program helps students develop the knowledge, skills, and understanding needed to work effectively in a multi-cultural society. The Associate in Science curriculum is designed to meet the standards of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Massasoit’s Brockton campus is home to The Children’s Center, (currently closed) which is affiliated with the Early Childhood Education and Administration program and is a training site for future child care professionals. Students and parents utilize the Center’s “observation room” to better understand children’s developmental milestones.

The Massasoit Children’s Center (currently closed) consists of one main classroom with an adjoining resource room, an outdoor play area, and a courtyard for creative adventures is adjacent to the Center.
