Thank you for your interest in Massasoit Community College’s Gateway to College early college high school program!

The Gateway to College program is a unique education opportunity. Students earn a high school diploma with the added benefit of receiving college credits toward a college degree or certificate.

Please keep in mind that enrollment in the Gateway to College program is limited and that many applicants will be competing for available slots. Acceptance is not guaranteed. It is important that you read the information carefully, and complete all of the required steps by the given deadline dates. Please contact us if you have any questions.

You may be eligible for the Gateway to College program if you*:

  • Are between 16 and 21 years old with at least an 8th grade reading level
  • Believe that a traditional high school setting is not the right fit OR
    • Have left high school or are on the verge of leaving before graduation OR
    • Are behind in high school credits to graduate with your designated class
  • Are able to obtain a referral from Abington, Braintree, Brockton, Carver, Easton, Hanover, Holbrook, Holliston, Middleborough, Milton, Norton, Norwood, or Whitman-Hanson (Proof of school district registration required for all participating school districts)
  • Are READY and WILLING to work hard!
