Massachusetts, like many parts of the country, has a rapidly growing innovation economy that offers a variety of well-paying jobs to individuals with strong quantitative and logic skills. Our associate’s degree program can put you on a path to a bachelor’s degree so that you can take advantage of career options in this fast-growing sector.

Computer Science Transfer is designed for students who, upon graduation, plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to continue their studies. Completing your first two years of college at Massasoit before transferring can save you up to 50 percent on tuition and fees when compared to four years at college or university. Massasoit also has a number of partnerships with local universities that can ease the transfer process.

Students in this program will earn a certificate in Java programming and study software engineering, data structures and algorithms, computer architecture, calculus, discrete math, and physics, as well as have the opportunity to choose a number of elective courses.

Massasoit and the Computer Technology & Information Management department are committed to equity, accommodation, providing support and resources, and helping all students succeed. Individuals from all backgrounds, abilities and skill levels are encouraged to enter the computer science program.
