The Community Education department at Massasoit serves a broad population of students, some of whom are developing skills to take their career to the next level, others who are training for a new career, and others who simply want to learn something new for their own personal interest. Our non-credit courses are offered in the day, evening, on weekends, and online, to accommodate our student’s busy schedules.

***NEW! FREE TRAINING COURSE OPTIONS: EKG TECHNICIAN AND PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN COURSES
Massasoit is now offering two free grant-funded training programs for high demand careers either as an Electrocardiography (EKG) Technician or a Phlebotomy Technician. Thanks to funding from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, all classes are free to those who qualify in spring 2026.
For those who wish to be certified in both areas, Massasoit is offering a new integrated EKG/Phlebotomy Technician training starting January 2026 and again in March 2026.
For those who wish only one certification, individual EKG Technician and Phlebotomy Technician training will begin in March 2026.
