A journey to successfully attaining your bachelor’s degree at BSU begins with MCC2BSU. This innovative program starts at Massasoit Community College and prepares you for academic success – all while providing you with a seamless transition to BSU. Apply for MCC2BSU, complete your associate degree at Massasoit and then you will transfer into BSU automatically as a junior.

While at Massasoit, you will enjoy many of the same benefits that BSU students experience – access to facilities, events and more. You will join not one, but two campus communities where students from all backgrounds find a place and develop their definitions of success – while saving thousands of dollars. You will be welcomed into an extraordinary community that is committed to student success.

10 things you need to know about the MCC2BSU pathway:

  1. With locations in Brockton, Canton, Middleborough and online, Massasoit provides a quality education, no matter where you are.
  2. Join one of our student clubs, take in a play, or check out the many academic, social, and cultural events that take place daily on our campuses.
  3. With opportunities to participate in credit and non-credit internships through the Center for Experiential Learning, Massasoit students have the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience before they graduate.
  4. Massasoit’s caring faculty are dedicated to our students’ success and their budgets! Many Massasoit courses now use free Open Educational Resources (OER) instead of expensive text books, saving students even more on the cost of their degree.

  6. Pick up your MCC2BSU ID while attending Massasoit to take advantage of your BSU opportunities – including discounts!
  7. With good academic standing at Massasoit, study abroad with BSU in one (or more!) of its 75 programs in 35-plus countries.
  8. Experience the BSU community with access to facilities such as the Maxwell Library, the Thornburg Fitness Center and the university’s book store.
  9. Visit BSU’s 270-acre campus to attend sporting events, concerts, theatrical performances, speaker series and cultural events…  or just to meet up with friends.
