Program Details

The Computer Science Transfer program prepares students to continue their studies for a baccalaureate degree in Computer Science.

Graduates earn an Associate of Science Degree.

Program Outcomes

Students graduating from Massasoit’s Computer Science Transfer Program should be able to:

  • Every program graduate will have the skills and knowledge necessary to transfer to a four-year institution to complete a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Data Science.
  • Every program graduate will be able to think critically and analytically, and be able to communicate, and interact using social and interpersonal skills.
  • Every program graduate will be able to demonstrate critical knowledge of hardware and software and the relationship between them.
  • Every program graduate will be able to develop programs in high- and low-level programming languages, including Java, Python, and Assembly, and to design and implement an appropriate and secure algorithmic solution to a problem using programming languages.

A minimum of 63 Credits is required. At least 17 credits of your program must be taken at Massasoit. Note: Each course completed and passed can only fulfill one program requirement. The same course cannot be used to satisfy multiple program requirements.
