Hospitality Management
Massasoit’s Associate in Science in Hospitality Management prepares students for employment in the rapidly expanding hotel and restaurant industry. Hospitality students will study business applications, tourism, marketing, finances, accounting and hotel operations.
All of the business activities that directly or indirectly contribute to, or depend upon, travel and tourism make up the hospitality industry. Some common employers include:
- Hotels & resorts
- Restaurants & catering services
- Night clubs & bars
- Travel websites and agencies
- Transportation services
- Tourism attractions
- Spas & wellness centers
- Cruise liners & bus tours
- Event venues and planners (private, business, cultural & sports)
Students in our Hospitality Management Degree program will study tourism, event planning, marketing, human resources, and hotel operations, as well as other aspects of the field. With the interconnectedness of the hospitality and culinary industries, food and beverage service management and ServSafe certification are included in the curriculum.
