Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe Photoshop CC: Introduction
This class is an introduction to Adobe Photoshop and will introduce the user to the industry standard tools for digital photographic editing. Topics include: color adjustments, retouching capabilities, transparency and blend modes, advanced image editing, design, color management and type controls. Through demonstration and hands-on exercises taught by a media arts professional, you will create exciting and amazing images using some of this program’s limitless capabilities introduce. Please Note: The college is making every effort to make the Adobe software required for this course available remotely. All registered students will be notified once finalized. The course is useful to Windows or Mac users. Students will need to have a 64 GB or larger USB flash or SD XC card for class.

Adobe After Effects CC: Introduction
This class is an introduction to Adobe After Effects and will introduce the user to project and interface setup, basic compositing skills and toolsets including working with layers, animating compositions and creating animated type, 3D basics, motion tracking, lighting and other effects, and rendering. Through demonstration and hands-on exercises taught by a media arts professional, students will leave with a solid understanding of how to use the program and create layered compositions in After Effects. Please Note: The college is making every effort to make the Adobe software required for this course available remotely. All registered students will be notified once finalized. The course is useful to Windows or Mac users. Students will need to have a 1TB or larger external hard disk drive for class.

Adobe Premiere Pro CC: Introduction
This class is an introduction to Adobe Premiere Pro and will introduce the user to project setup, basic video editing skills and toolsets including audio and video effects, color correction and slow motion. Through demonstration and hands-on exercises taught by a media arts professional, students will leave with a solid understanding of how to create and export videos for web, social media, television, marketing, and corporate video production projects. About Our Instructor

Mike Sullivan holds a B.S. in Mass Communication/Film from Emerson College. He has been a professional documentary editor and writer for over 20 years. His work can be seen in museums across the country including The Smithsonian, The Mob Museum, The Tampa Bay History Center, and The Civil War Museum. He also has extensive television experience gained while working as a news and promotions editor at several TV stations in the Boston area. He has been teaching at Massasoit Community College since 2020.

Introduction to Access
This introductory course will show you what an electronic database program is capable of doing. Learn database terminology, how to design your own database, type and edit information, sort and extract specific data from this information through queries and create forms and reports. You will use Wizards, set primary keys, delete records, and fix formatting problems. Most importantly you will acquire knowledge of what a database program is and you can decide for yourself if Access is a piece of software your company could benefit from.

Excel for Project Managers

Swati Dave holds a B.E.in Civil Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Construction Management from the National Institute of Construction Management and Research.
