Adobe Photoshop CC: Introduction
This class is an introduction to Adobe Photoshop and will introduce the user to the industry standard tools for digital photographic editing. Topics include: color adjustments, retouching capabilities, transparency and blend modes, advanced image editing, design, color management and type controls. Through demonstration and hands-on exercises taught by a media arts professional, you will create exciting and amazing images using some of this program’s limitless capabilities introduce. Please Note: The college is making every effort to make the Adobe software required for this course available remotely. All registered students will be notified once finalized. The course is useful to Windows or Mac users. Students will need to have a 64 GB or larger USB flash or SD XC card for class.

Mike Sullivan holds a B.S. in Mass Communication/Film from Emerson College. He has been a professional documentary editor and writer for over 20 years. His work can be seen in museums across the country including The Smithsonian, The Mob Museum, The Tampa Bay History Center, and The Civil War Museum. He also has extensive television experience gained while working as a news and promotions editor at several TV stations in the Boston area. He has been teaching at Massasoit Community College since 2020.
