As Associate Dean of Massasoit’s Community College’s Corporate Education initiatives, Maryellen brings extensive leadership experience in higher education and workforce development. Prior to coming to Massasoit, she served as executive director for the South Shore Workforce Investment Board, managing the planning and execution of a wide array of workforce training initiatives, special projects and youth education & employment programs for 22 communities. Prior positions include serving in leadership positions at the University of Massachusetts Boston, as director of alumni and career programs in the College of Management as well as the assistant director of Undergraduate Admissions. Maryellen’s background in successfully initiating public-private partnerships, working with businesses and non-profit agencies, are assets to the College’s business development efforts. Maryellen has a BA from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Steven Litcoff, M.Ed.

Steven Litcoff joined Massasoit 11 years ago as the Energy Efficiency Grant Coordinator, providing participants with customized training, internships, and job placement. For the past 10 years, Mr. Litcoff has been an administrator in the Corporate Education department coordinating trainings for private organizations, non-profits, and municipalities throughout the South Shore. Prior to joining Massasoit, Mr. Litcoff spent ten years as an administrator handling the training of large staffs, as well as budgetary, hiring, staff performance, and fund-raising functions in the early education field. He received his bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State University and his M.Ed. in Psychology from Cambridge College.
